Born, raised and based in South London, Denuja (@denujaratna) is a multi-talented vocalist. Having learnt a variety musical instruments from a young age, music has been prevalent throughout her life. Her versatility can be seen through her covers in Tamil cinema, R&B and her experiences in the opera. Denuja showcases these influences while covering popular Tamil cinema song, Ivan Yaaro from Minnale (2001). In this track, Denuja builds melodic + percussive layers through an mpc + loop pedal combination before introducing her vocals.
